Old PC game w/ a boy who lost his monkey

Hello guys,

I’ve been trying to find an old game, but it seems like it disappeared from the internet. It was a PC game I used to play when I was a child (early 2000) and the storyline included a boy who lost his monkey and had to fight skeleton pirates to find his pet. The game started with the boy who was trapped in a temple with 4 gates. The gates represented the 4 seasons, and you could choose which season you’d like to play. When you went though a gate, your clothes changed, and you started the journey to find your monkey. After some levels, you got to fight the skeletons on their ship.

It looked a lot like “The curse of the monkey island” but it’s not a game from this series. I can’t remember exactly, but I feel like the boy was blue haired.

If anyone knows what I’m talking about, I would be very thankful to find the name of this game. Cheers!
